汉语古典诗歌的翻译一直备受关注和争议,“可不可译”是其争论的焦点,尤其是我国诗歌特定意象的翻译。关联理论涉及认知语境、交际意图并在原文和译文之间建立最佳关联(李宏霞,2012:6)。[1]关联理论运用在诗歌翻译上的研究大大提高翻译的效果,也给我国诗歌英译研究带来新视角。
The translation of Chinese classical poetry has always been the subject of much attention and controversy. The issue of “untranslatable” is the focus of its debate, especially the translation of the specific image of Chinese poetry. Relevance theory involves cognitive context, communicative intention and establishes the best correlation between original and translated (Li Hongxia, 2012: 6). [1] The application of relevance theory to the study of poetry translation greatly improves the translation effect, and also brings a new perspective to the study of the translation of poetry into English.
