韦努蒂对归化翻译方法进行了解构,提出了异化的翻译策略,在国内外翻译界均产生了很广泛的影响。但是他的理论并非十全十美、无懈可击。很多学者在研究韦努蒂翻译理论时往往只是节取部分,摘录支持异化的语句,有的只是停留在语言层面的描述,混淆概念。本文试从韦努蒂的异化理论出发,追溯其理论根源和语境,分析对比国内外学者对韦努蒂翻译理论的评介,对当前全球化语境下的翻译策略进行再思考。
Venuti deconstructs the method of domestication translation and proposes alienative translation strategies, all of which have a very wide range of influence both in domestic and overseas translators. But his theory is not perfect, impeccable. Many scholars often study just Venuti’s translation theory only to extract some excerpts from alienation statements, while others simply stay at the linguistic level and obfuscate concepts. Based on Venuti’s theory of alienation, this essay traced back to its theoretical roots and context, analyzed and compared domestic and foreign scholars’ comments on Venuti’s translation theory, and reconsidered the current translation strategies in the context of globalization.
