本文从奈达的“功能对等”理论的角度对衡水市公示语翻译现状作了粗略的调查。由于我国对外开放的逐步深入,公示语作为外国人日常生活的重要组成部分,其翻译质量也关系到了城市的发展。公示语具有信息、指示、限制及警示四种应用功能,在措辞方面具有简洁、通俗及语言规范等特点。但由于文化和语言的差异,公示语翻译中存在着大量的问题。如:拼写错误、用词不当、语法错误等。公示语的完善及改进需要全社会给予更多的关注,共同努力解决存在的问题。
This article makes a rough survey of the status quo of the translation of public signs in Hengshui City from the perspective of Nida ’s “functional equivalence” theory. Due to the gradual deepening of China’s opening to the outside world, as an important part of the daily life of foreigners, the quality of translation is also related to the development of the city. Public language with information, instructions, restrictions and warnings four application functions, in terms of simple, popular and language specifications and so on. However, due to the differences of culture and language, there are many problems in the translation of public signs. Such as: spelling mistakes, improper wording, grammatical mistakes. The improvement and improvement of the public signs require the whole society to pay more attention to work together to solve the existing problems.
