德宏州民族初级中学,前身为德宏州民族第一中学初中部,成立于1952年,至今已有半个多世纪的办学历史,是德宏州办学历史最悠久的学校。学校占地面积100952m~2。现有43个教学班,在校学生2572人,其中当地少数民族学生883人,占34%:在岗教职工171人,其中特级教师1人,高级教师35人,一级教师60人,专任教师学历合格率为100%。2007年8月,德宏州民族第一中学初中部独立办学,并更名为德宏州民族初级中学,是唯一一所面向全州招收优秀少数民族学生的学校,承担
