MBA最初与我国发生联系,大约在20世纪80年代初。当时,我国曾选派过一批比较优秀的管理人才到美国学MBA,结果这批人学成归国之后很多找不到合适的工作岗位,原因就是中国的改革开放初期,没有MBA成长的环境。目前国内出版业的情况,与当时有一点相似。作为市场经济产物的西方管理经典,它在中国的能量的散发、效用的实现过程,是与中国改革开放的进程同步的。就是说,今天出版业的开放度,还不足以让MBA的知识在工作中得以很好地运用。但这并不是说,大家去读MBA没有意义。MBA从学习到运用,到取得良好效果,需要有一个过程。既然它是一个过程,就需要有人去推动。MBA对中国出版具有重要的意义。这种意义具体表现在:
