彭书杰在中共绵阳市委党校主办的《涪江新论》第3期著文提出,现在党的政治路线是正确的,加强党的建设,仍在于从多方面入手坚持党的性质。第一,坚持用马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想武装党员头脑,着重从思想上建党,是坚持党的性质的首要条件。第二,长期不懈地提高党员素质和干部素质,努力建设起一支合格的党员队伍和干部队伍,是坚持党的性质的基础。第三,实践党的宗旨,全心全意为人民服务,密切联系群众,是坚持党的性质的核心。第四,进一步健全民主集中
Peng Shujie, the third issue of “Fujiang New Theory” hosted by party school of Mianyang Municipal Party Committee, proposed that the party’s political line is right now. Strengthening party building is still based on the party’s nature in many aspects. First, upholding the mind of party members with Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought and focusing on building the party ideologically are the primary conditions for upholding the party’s character. Second, long-term and unremitting efforts to improve the quality of party members and cadres, and strive to build a qualified contingent of party members and cadres are the basis for upholding the party’s nature. Third, practicing the Party’s purpose, serving the people wholeheartedly, and closely contacting the masses are the core of upholding the party’s nature. Fourth, to further improve democratic concentration
