离子极化是波兰化学家法扬斯(Fajans)于1923年提出的一个化学原理。五十多年来,这个化学原理有了很大发展,用它可以解释许多化学现象,目前已经成为无机化学、结晶化学、结构化学、地球化学等教科书中的一个基本原理。近年来在固体物理学中也有不少应用。然而,很不足的是这个原理迄今为止仍旧是个定性概念,非常缺乏定量的甚至是半定量的讨论,因此在一定程度上限制了它的更广泛的应用。
Ion polarization is a chemical principle proposed by the Polish chemist Fajans in 1923. For more than fifty years, this chemical principle has been greatly developed, with which it can explain many chemical phenomena, has now become a basic principle of inorganic chemistry, crystallochemistry, structural chemistry, geochemistry and other textbooks. In recent years, there are many applications in solid state physics. However, it is not sufficient that this principle is still a qualitative concept so far, and there is a lack of quantitative or even semi-quantitative discussion, which limits its wider application to a certain extent.
