In order to familiarize metallurgical system technicians with the technical features of rolling bearings for rolling equipment, correctly use and maintain, and prolong the service life, Baosteel and WISCO, China Metallurgical Equipment Import and Export Corporation, respectively sponsored a symposium on the application of rolling mill bearings. In 1985 June Baosteel hosted a forum for exchange and invited five experts, including Dr. Peel Su, Vice Chairman of Technical Services Department of West Germany FAG and 78 representatives of 27 metallurgical enterprises including Baosteel and Panzhihua Iron and Steel.
