前言 高等植物有一半以上的物种是多倍体,而柑桔及其有关属几乎都是二倍体,体细胞染色体数为2n=2x=18。1925年,Longley首先发观香港山金柑(Fortunella hindsii Swing.)是四倍体(2n=4x=36)。此后,在柑桔、金柑、枳壳等属不少品种中都发现有多倍体植株存在。但在栽培品种中,只有塔希提(Tahiti)来檬是三倍体(2n=3x=27)。
Foreword More than half of the species in higher plants are polyploid while citrus and its related species are almost diploid and the number of somatic chromosomes is 2n = 2x = 18. In 1925, Longley first made the appearance of Fortunella hindsii Swing.) is tetraploid (2n = 4x = 36). Since then, citrus, kumquat, Citrus aurantium and many other species are found in polyploid plants exist. But in cultivars, only Tahiti is triploid (2n = 3x = 27).
