北京航空馆是在北京航空学院原飞机陈列馆的基础上建立起来的,全馆分为室内、室外两部分。室外的停机坪面积约六千五百平方米,陈列有国产超音速歼击机和世界各国不同年代的飞机共三十余架,其中一部分为宝贵的历史名机。照片右侧陈列的是歼—6,歼—7等国产超音速飞机,北航自行研制的“北京一号”轻型旅客机及苏联早期生产的各种飞机;左侧是第二次世界大战时期的名机,包括美国的P—61和P—47等型号的飞机。室内为两个面积各为六百平方米的展厅,第一展厅为航空史主题展厅,按照中国航空工业发展历史进程展览一些国产飞机模型和图片;第二展厅为综合展厅,展出有
Beijing Aviation Museum is built on the basis of the original aircraft exhibition hall of Beijing Aviation Institute. The whole hall is divided into indoor and outdoor parts. Outdoor apron area of about 6,500 square meters, displaying a domestic supersonic fighter planes and the rest of the world a total of more than thirty planes, some of which are valuable historical and famous. On the right-hand side of the photo are domestic-made supersonic aircraft such as the J-6 and F-7 aircraft, the “Beijing No. 1” light passenger aircraft developed by Beihang and various early-stage aircraft produced by the Soviet Union; the left is the period of World War II Famous aircraft, including the United States P-61 and P-47 and other models of aircraft. The interior is two exhibition halls with an area of 600 square meters each. The first exhibition hall is the theme exhibition hall of aviation history.
