Intercultural differences may create a merciless blow to mergers and acquisitions: delaying or even suspending decision-making, boycotting management coherence, and blocking the flow of relevant information. The untrustworthiness caused by the ownership structure also requires that both parties of the merger and acquisition cross the hierarchical boundaries and face to face to communicate
