Objective To investigate the relationship between the level of thrombopoietin (TPO), the transcription level of c-mplmRNA of platelet TPO receptor, platelet count (PLT) and the count of bone marrow megakaryocytes in patients with thrombocytopenia and its clinical significance.Methods The serum TPO levels in 50 patients with different etiopathogenic thrombocytopenia were measured by sandwich-ELISA.
