Objective: To explore the cause of recurrent respiratory tract infection in order to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections. Methods: 82 patients with recurrent respiratory tract infection were selected clinically. The clinical data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed and the final etiological factors were summarized according to the results of a series of laboratory tests. Results: Repeated respiratory infections were divided into repeated upper respiratory tract infection and repeated lower respiratory tract infection. Among them, 33 cases of recurrent upper respiratory tract infection were mostly caused by chronic lesions, 17 cases were chronic tonsillitis, 11 cases were chronic sinusitis, 2 cases were gastroesophageal reflux and 3 cases had unknown cause. 49 cases of recurrent lower respiratory tract infection Of the 49 patients with recurrent lower respiratory tract infections, 19 were caused by immunodeficiency disease, 3 were gastroesophageal reflux, 7 were pneumonia, 4 were asthma, 7 were tracheal foreign bodies, 4 3 cases of congenital anomalies of lung, 2 cases of unknown etiology, and repeated lower respiratory tract infection in 16 patients with bronchiectasis, the incidence was 32.7%. At the same time, repeated respiratory infections are also related to the patient’s age, living environment, innate factors, mental health status, trace elements and vitamins but also anti-other factors. Conclusion: The causes of recurrent respiratory tract infections are diverse, and the causes of upper respiratory tract infection and lower respiratory tract infection are different.
