Recently released data show that during the Spring Festival Golden Week, the national consumer market is booming, rich year. From New Year’s Eve to the first day of the first month (January 27 to February 2), the national retail and catering enterprises achieved sales of about 840 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4% over the Golden Week of the Spring Festival last year. In terms of subregions, the overall performance in the central and western regions is better than in the eastern regions. In the central and western regions, the sales of key monitoring commerce and business enterprises in Anhui, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hunan and Qinghai increased by 15.5%, 12.7%, 11.8%, 11.5% and 11.3% respectively over the same period of previous year while the sales in eastern Shanghai, Jiangsu, Tianjin and Beijing increased by 10.6% 10.6%, 10.2%, 9.8%.
