京剧是中国戏曲艺术的杰出代表,被誉为“国粹”。在世界戏剧三大体系之中,占有一席之地。京剧源自于多种戏曲艺术,它博采众长,兼收并蓄,融会贯通,是一种博大精深的综合舞台表演艺术。音乐是京剧最重要的组成部分,是京剧的半壁江山。京剧是板腔体的戏曲艺术,京剧音乐由“文场”、“武场”两大组成部分。京剧的“武场”主要有四大件:鼓、大锣、铙钹和小锣,全部为打击乐器。在激烈的武打场面中,还有堂鼓烘托气氛。京剧艺术注重节奏,鼓师是掌握节奏的指挥者,在演出过程中掌握节奏和气氛,伴随剧中的喜怒哀乐之情,陪衬出抑扬顿挫之声,能够准确打出剧情所需要的情绪和应有的感情,使整出戏结构紧凑、张弛得当、赏心悦目。
