随着科学技术的飞速发展,全球政治经济一体化趋势已经不可逆转,跨地区、种族、国家的交流不断增加,很多国际性政治、经济、文化、教育等方案的制定都需要通过多国合作才能妥善解决,因而汉英互译成为了赤手可热的职业。口译因为其翻译的准确性常作为一种非常有效的跨文化交际方式被广泛应用到很多场合中。随着社会翻译人才需求的不断增加,口译专业在教育体制内也越来越受到重视,但由于文化差异和思想方式的不同,学生们在口译学习和练习的过程中,经常会在翻译时发生停顿的现象,这个问题困扰着很多学生。通过研究发现,汉英互译的过程中停顿现象的发生大都是因为学生译员整理信息内容,修正自己的语言产出导致的。学生在交传训练的停顿现象不仅影响翻译质量,还会造成交流礼节上的缺失,因此要尽量避免,本文将针对翻译时的停顿问题做出几点分析。
With the rapid development of science and technology, the trend of political and economic integration in the world has become irreversible. With the increasing demand of social translators, interpreting majors are paid more and more attention in the educational system. However, due to differences in culture and ways of thinking, students often translate during interpreting and practice Pause phenomenon, this problem plagued many students. Through the study, it is found that the pauses in the process of mutual translation of Chinese and English are mostly caused by the fact that the student translators organize the information content and correct their own language output. The pause phenomenon in students’ training not only affects the quality of translation, but also causes the lack of communication etiquette. Therefore, we should try our best to avoid it. This article will make some analysis on the pause in translation.
