长期以来,人民调解是我国法制建设中一项独特的制度,是现行调解制度的一个组成部分,以其快捷、简便的手段,在化解民间纠纷,防止矛盾激化、维护社会和谐稳定中发挥了极其重要的作用。然而,在当今多元化的社会环境下,基层人民调解工作遇到的新问题、难问题也是层出不穷,需要各级人民政府及人民调解委员会高度关注并探索新办法来应对。为此,本文试就新时期基层人民调解工作,特别是面对意外伤害纠纷调解中的难点与对策作些探讨。
