凡是看过陆键东先生所著《陈寅恪最后20年》一书的读者,对于书中将之与陈寅恪作了鲜明对照的另一位著名学者朱师辙的生平事迹,特别是其晚年的生活境遇,恐怕有不少人会产生浓厚的兴趣。但是,由于资料的缺乏,不但迄今未能见到有关这方面的专门论著发表问世;就是在对此有所披露的上述陆先生所著的书中,也因同样的原因而语焉不详,难以在史实上十分确切与全面。本文作者因工作关系,得有机缘看到浙江图书馆古籍部收藏的朱氏全部诗文、论著和信札的遗稿,从散见于各类遗稿只字片语、字里行间的记述中探幽析微,进行搜集、整理和研究。本文所介绍的朱氏在杭州的晚年生活境遇,就是其中的一部分。
