1997年和1998年春节期间,我们部分学生和新西兰在华留学生开展了两次 Homestay 活动。此项活动由武汉大学留学生部、奥克兰大学李敏儒先生和我共同创意,一起策划进行。所谓 Homestay 活动,即新西兰留学生到中国学生家的活动。此两次活动是中、新学生进行语言和文化交流的有益实践,也是在我们的学生走出课堂学习语言的一次大胆探索。这两批留学生共有50多名,来自南半球新西兰
During 1997 and the Spring Festival of 1998, two of our homestay activities were conducted with some of our students and New Zealand students studying in China. This activity is jointly planned by the International Students Department of Wuhan University and Mr. Li Minru of Auckland University. The so-called Homestay activity, that is, New Zealand students to Chinese student home activities. These two activities are beneficial practices for both Chinese and new students in language and cultural exchange and are also a bold exploration of the language our students have come out of the classroom.
