陈吉生,籍贯绍兴,1955年9月生于杭州,字半禅、师石,号愚静斋主人。自幼酷爱绘画,后得徐从初、曾宓先生指授,取法黄子久、王叔明、沈石田、石涛、八大、龚半千等,力求宁静高远、古朴苍幽之境界。初次读到陈吉生的山水作品,深为他那湿翠氤氲、丘壑磊落的特色所吸引。不久,我在他为朋友画的长卷上题了三首俚句,以表我的感想:青山叠叠映斜曛,野径随溪入谷分。翠壁丹崖净无垢,英雄不敢勒功勋。导幽探胜步迢迢,小坐清溪饮一瓢。莫道前途多确荦,云飞不碍碧山高。不囿西湖水石间,烟云供养证荆关。悟来柴丈氤氲法,写出江南湿翠山。
