Among the series of ancient Chinese poetry compiled in separate periods, so far only one such book, Quan Qing Poetry, which is the earliest in history and largest in scale, has not yet been published and has not been approved. However, the motion on compiling the “Quan Qing Poetry” has repeatedly been raised repeatedly over the last hundred years or so. According to the present knowledge, at least three organizations and individuals, such as the Commercial Press, Zhang Yuanji, Hu Yujin, Hu Huachen, Gao Xu, Wang Baozhen, Zou Yongxiu, Ji Juwei and Xu Shichang, all can be regarded as the precursor of “Quanqing Poetry” . In the hundred years of the Qing Dynasty’s demise, it is not without a sense of motivation to trace back the course of this academic period.
