民办博物馆来自于民间、成长于民间、服务于民间,是具有文化普及鲜明特色的公共文化服务机构。在市委、市政府的领导下,在市园林文物局的关心和支持下,杭州的民办博物馆事业发展势头良好。到目前为止已有各类民办博物馆10余座,民办博物馆在发掘再现杭州历史文化、充分利用文物史迹潜在价值、实现文化遗产教育功能等方面都取得了显著成绩。民办博物馆已成为杭州博物馆事业的重要组成部分,为推动杭州社会文化事业
Private museums come from the private sector, grew up in the private sector, serving the people, is a distinctive cultural popularization of public cultural services. Under the leadership of the municipal party committee and government and the care and support of the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, the private museum in Hangzhou enjoys a good momentum of development.
