中国人民解放军唯一的一名被授衔的女将军——李贞同志,1908年出生于湖南省浏阳县,1927年参加著名的“秋收起义”,组织和指挥过“测东游击队”;长征中,担任六军团组织部长、红二方面军组织印刷部长;解放战争时,担任西北军区政治部秘书长;建国后赴朝参战,任志愿军政治部秘书长;回国后,先后任防空军干部部长、军事检察院副检察长、总政干部部副部长等职;退居二线后,任总政干部部顾问,现在已经离休。李贞同志从一名童养媳成长为一名女将军,在党的教育培养下,在漫长的人生道路上,经历了许多不平常的抉择。
The only female general of the People’s Liberation Army named Li Zhen was born in Liuyang County, Hunan Province in 1908 and participated in the famous Autumn Harvest Uprising in 1927, organizing and directing the “East-guerrillas”. During the Long March Served as Secretary of the Sixth Army Corps, Red Second Front Army Organization Minister of Printing; Liberation War, served as Secretary-General of the Northwest Military Political Department; after the founding of the Republic of China, he served as secretary-general of the Political Department of the volunteer army; returned to China, served successively as Air Defense Minister, military Procuratorate Deputy Attorney General, Deputy Minister of the General Political Department and other staff; retreated to second line, he served as adviser to the cadres of the General Political Department, has now retired. Comrade Li Zhen’s growth from a child-daughter-in-law to a general woman went through many unusual choices under the party’s education and training over the long road to life.
