在高压相氮化硼烧结体刀具中,由日本油脂公司以“威金”商标出售的钎锌氮化硼(以下简称WBN)刀具,具有独特的性能。所谓WBN 刀具,是以钎锌矿型氮化硼为原料,用炸药爆炸,在约100万分之一秒的时间内、在数十万气压的压力下合成而获得的刀具。而其他氮化硼刀具,如立方氮化硼(以下简称CBN)刀具,是以立方氮化硼为原料,用静超高压技术合成而得到的刀具。WBN 与CBN 烧结的方法基本相同,但由于原料不同,刀具的性能也不相同。本文就WBN 刀具的加工特性及其应用加以介绍,并将WBN 与CBN 刀具的部分性能作一对比。

This article describes the processing characteristics of WBN tools and their applications, and compares some of the properties of WBN and CBN tools.
