体内表达有苏云金杆菌(Bt)杀虫晶体蛋白质的转基因玉米品种将受到欧洲玉米螟虫体内抗性发展的威胁。处理和未处理的田块混合可延缓对杀虫剂抗性发展,但不处理躲避田块很可能遭受严重的破坏。策略之一就是利用玉米螟的偏爱性和移动性来解决这个问题。计算机模拟显示,这种手段在混种地未处理区能延缓抗性发展并降低害虫损害。
Transgenic maize varieties expressing Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) insecticidal crystal proteins in vivo will be at risk of development in vivo in European corn borers. Mixing of treated and untreated plots delayed the development of insecticide resistance, but it is likely to suffer serious damage if not managed. One strategy is to use the corn borer preference and mobility to solve this problem. Computer simulations show that this approach can delay development of resistance and reduce pest damage in mixed, unprocessed areas.
