学生在学习高中英语时,由于对外国文化的不了解,常常会犯一些有关这方面的错误。随着现代社会的发展,文化的作用越来越显著,注重对学生文化意识的培养,有利于提高英语教学效率、培养学生语言综合运用的能力。因此在高中英语课程教学中,我们不仅要教会学生掌握英语这门语言的知识要点,也要让学生了解英语中所含有的相应的文化内涵和文化意识。本文重点阐述文化意识在高中英语教学中的重要性,以及如何培养学生的文化意识。
When students study high school English, they often make some mistakes in this respect because of their ignorance of foreign cultures. With the development of modern society, the function of culture is more and more obvious. It pays attention to the cultivation of students ’cultural awareness, which is conducive to improving the efficiency of English teaching and cultivating students’ abilities to use language comprehensively. Therefore, in the teaching of high school English, we should not only teach students to master the key points of English language, but also to enable students to understand the English language contained in the corresponding cultural connotation and cultural awareness. This article focuses on the importance of cultural awareness in high school English teaching and how to cultivate students’ cultural awareness.
