In the last few years of this century, the world economy has undergone drastic changes. The thriving Asia erupted in 1997 with an unprecedented financial crisis. The four ASEAN countries, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong entered a serious economic contraction in succession. The financial crisis spread to emerging market countries such as Russia and Brazil, and the global foreign exchange, stocks, Bonds and futures markets have entered a period of unprecedented turmoil.
