本文报道了1982年至1990年南京城区8岁儿童生长发育的9年追踪观察。结果表明：形态、机能的突增男生在12岁，女生在10岁。本文根据月经初潮出现的时间划分出早熟、正常、晚熟三个发育类型，通过各类型的身高及体重／身高指数的比较充分地表现出早熟者的高度、女性体态及三种类型的不同变化规律，同时相应的手、腕部X线摄片差异也有显著性。
This article reports the 9-year follow-up of the growth and development of 8-year-old children in Nanjing city from 1982 to 1990. The results show that: sudden increase in morphology and function of boys at 12 years old, girls at 10 years old. According to the appearance of menarche, this paper classified three types of precocious, normal and late maturity. The height, body shape and three types of different patterns of early maturity were fully demonstrated by various types of height and weight / height index , While the corresponding hand, wrist radiography differences are significant.
