The NMDA receptors in the cerebral cortex of normal adult mice (3 months old) were examined by radioligand binding assay to observe the NMDA receptors, long-term potentiation (LTP), etc. of mice during aging. The changes and the effect of Bushen Chinese Herbal Compound on these changes. The results are summarized as follows: The maximum binding capacity (B_(max)) and equilibrium dissociation constant (Kd) of NMDA receptors in cerebral cortex of normal adult mice.
