采用经食管超声心动图（TEE）检查了过去患有室间隔缺损（VSD）的5例室间隔膜部瘤患者，其中2例仍有VSD存在，1例同时合并有感染性心内膜炎;3例VSD已自然闭合。结果表明：TEE对室间隔膜部瘤及其合并症的诊断优于TTE，室间隔膜部瘤的形成为VSD自然闭合的过程。
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) was used to examine 5 patients with ventricular septal defect (VSD) who previously had ventricular septal defect (VSD). Of these, 2 patients still had VSD and 1 patient had concurrent infective endocarditis. Three cases of VSD have closed naturally. The results showed that TEE was superior to TTE in the diagnosis of ventricular septal mesothelioma and complications, and the formation of ventricular septal medullary tumors was the process of natural closure of VSD.
