科技工作者在阅读国内外科技图书和论文时,或在写作与翻译专业文章时、往往需要某些工具书,特别是某些专业工具书。这种专业工具书,人们也常常称之为基本参考书。专业辞典也是科学文献中的一种,通常是指对专业名词或术语的定义作科学的解释,或给以正确的拼法和读法等的手头常用参考书。 最近在参予编撰我国第一部植物病理学辞典工作中、为了从国外有关辞典方面借鉴,对一些植物病理学的工具书做了一个初步的调查,简介如下。 从接触到的工具书来看,大体可分两类:一、名词名称对照检索的工具书。 《俄英德法植物病理学辞典》,苏联科学院全苏科技情报所主编,苏联科学出版社,1969年出版。 全书478页,除有俄英德法四种文字的序言和目录外,分名词术语和农作物病害名称两部分。第一部分名词术语中有457个词目,
Scientists and technologists often need certain reference books, especially some professional reference books, when reading technical books and dissertations at home and abroad, or writing and translating professional articles. This kind of professional reference book, people often call it a basic reference book. Professional dictionaries are also a kind of scientific literature, usually referring to the definition of professional terms or terms for scientific explanation, or to give the correct spelling and reading commonly used reference books at hand. In the recent work of compiling the first dictionary of plant pathology in our country, a preliminary survey of some plant pathology reference books was made for the purpose of reference from foreign relevant dictionaries. The brief introduction is as follows.
