对牙痛宁丸镇痛与抗炎的药理作用进行观察。其结果：牙痛宁1．6g／kg对小鼠醋酸扭体、热板致痛有明显缓解作用，其扭体抑制率为70．3％，痛阈提高一倍；0．8、1．6g／kg均能明显抑制小鼠耳壳、大鼠足跖炎症及小鼠腹膜通透性；1．6、3．2g／kg对小鼠牙龈持续性炎症有抑制作用，可显著改善小鼠摄料量。提示牙痛宁丸具有较强的镇痛与抗炎活性。
