在充满希望和挑战的新世纪的第一年,迎来了中国共产党80周年纪念,这是我国人民政治生活中的一件大事。作为一个耄耋之年的老党员,写下了这篇学习“三个代表”重要思想的笔记,作自我教育,以为纪念。一、“三个代表”的重要思想,是新时期全面加强党的建设的伟大纲领党的先进性质,是党生存发展的根本依据,是党的生命线。历来如此,一以贯之。在新的时期,把先进生产力和先进文化,作为奋斗目标和先进性的新标准提出来,具有重大理论意义和实践意义。在新的时期,只有代表先进生产力和先进文化的党,才是先进的。在新的时期,也只有聚精会神地发展和维护先进生产力和先进文化,才算是忠实地代表和集中地体现最广大人民的根本利益,三者有机结合,总揽党建全局,是一大创新。既有继承,又有发展。
