当今是混乱与无序的时代,也是人类精神需要救赎的时代。英国大文豪狄更斯在《双城记》的开头写道:“这是最好的时代,这是最坏的时代;这是智慧的时代,这是愚蠢的时代;这是信仰的时期,这是怀疑的时期;这是光明的季节,这是黑暗的季节;这是希望之春,这是失望之冬;人们面前有着各样事物,人们面前一无所有;人们正在直登天堂,人们正在直下地狱。”这段名言简直就是今天中国与世界的极妙描写;而中国当代艺术界,同样也是如此不堪而又辉煌。在对中国当代艺术已经有点麻木的时候,观陈文令《异度风景》新作,感受到新浪漫主义的精神和草根英雄主义的冲击,看到将人们连接在一起的精神纽带——对心灵救赎的反思,无疑能体会到一种真正的感动。——王明贤
