在八十七岁的我国著名诗人和美学家宗白华先生的家里,我看到了他的两本集子。一本是一九八一年五月上海人民出版社出版的他的美学论文选集《美学散步》;另一本是台湾出版,由他在台湾的妹妹辗转寄来的,书名是《美学的散步》。这后一本书是作为台湾洪範书店的文学叢书之一出版的幸馑嫉氖?它的出版年月是一九八一年八月,同大隆出版《美学散步》几乎同时。更有意思的是,两本书所选的文章有一半是相同的。这说明中华民族文化的发展是不以个人意志
At the home of my 83-year-old famous poet and aestheist, Zong Baihua, I saw his two books. One is his collection of aesthetics essays entitled “Aesthetic Promenade”, which was published by the Shanghai People’s Publishing House in May 1981. The other book, published in Taiwan, was sent by his sister in Taiwan under the title of “Aesthetic Walk. ” This latter book was published as one of the Hong Kong Bookstore literature series in Taiwan. It was published in August 1981, almost at the same time as Dal’s publication of Aesthetic Walking. More interestingly, half of the articles selected for both books are the same. This shows that the development of Chinese culture is not personal
