“凶悍”、“血腥”、“冷血”这些字眼几乎成了鳄鱼的代名词。可是,在安徽省南陵县籍山镇长乐村74岁农民张金荣眼里,鳄鱼却比他的亲孙子还亲。这位目不识丁的农民25年如一日,精心照料10多只野生扬子鳄,使它们自然繁育。1999年,国际鳄鱼类专家约翰·森布亚那松博士在现场考察后,不禁竖起大拇指赞叹道:“这位中国老人是世界上第一个能与野生鳄鱼和谐共处的人,他像中国的长城一样,太不可思议了!”
