当奥巴马决定从伊拉克撤军并增加阿富汗的美军力量时,塔利班再次将恐怖袭击对准喀布尔。这样的氛围下,阿富汗总统选举一再延期,其传统的“抢羊比赛”却于一月如期举行。抢羊是阿富汗人最喜爱的运动项目,塔利班统治期间这些民间娱乐运动被禁止,近些年来“抢羊”运动渐渐复苏,这项原来在阿富汗北部地区流行的运动也渐渐地转移到首都喀布尔。
