英语文学像中国文学一样,尤其是经典名作颇受国人的喜爱。它的翻译过程不仅仅是语言的活动过程,本质上更是一种文化传播的过程。翻译之后它所传播的文化和思想使人们获益匪浅、受用终生。书名作为英语文学书籍的书眼,与英语文学书籍的内容和思想一样有着特殊的地位,它的作用更直观,更能吸引住读者的眼球。本文将结合汉斯.弗米尔的翻译的目的论去研究和分析英语文学书名翻译的变迁及方法,旨在理解和正确翻译英语文学书名。
English literature like Chinese literature, especially the classic masterpieces loved by the people. Its translation process is not only the process of linguistic activities, but also essentially a process of cultural transmission.
