The status given by Chongqing to the “integrated transport hub of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River” not only gave Chongqing a new historic mission but also brought about new strategic opportunities. The paper expounds the connotation of “the integrated transport hub of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River”, analyzes the new requirements of Chongqing Construction and the “integrated transport hub of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River”, and gives suggestions on Chongqing’s development of the “integrated transport hub on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River” It can provide a reference for the future traffic development in Chongqing.
