Romanticism is an art trend that emerged in Europe in the 18th century. There are two different manifestations of the painting under the guidance of this trend of thought. One is the more outward-looking painting represented by France, and the other is the painting full of introspection and spirituality in Germany. German romantic paintings always show the creative tendency of pursuing the mysterious and unmanified supernatural existence, pursuing the unification of human nature and nature, and pursuing the unification of beauty and life. People feel in nature, deeply feel the mysterious majesty of nature. The artist has always been nostalgic in the lonely and introspective world, seeing religion as a human being’s boundless spirit in the limited world, showing the original dependence and longing for the world.
