《昭通师专学报》“在建校的第二年即1979年10月就出了创刊号”,这样1999年即是《昭通师专学报》创刊20周年。我作为该学报的读者,有时也是写点稿件的人,热烈祝贺她的20周年华诞。 我开初认识《昭通师专学报》,也是从创刊号开始,主要是从中读了李正清的《朱提的由来及其它（初稿）》上。从此,总想读到《昭通师专学报》,只要获贵刊,即先看上面有些什么人写了些什么文章,既是渴求,也是好奇。翌年,在第2期上读到陈本明《昭通历史上的彝族》,感受与其他文章不同。因为我是彝人,但不了解彝族的历史,陈文使我对自己的民族开始有所认识和思考,同时也留心其他刊物上这方面的文章及地方的传说。
