日本内阁府近日宣布,今年第一季度日本的国内生产总值比前一季度增长1.4%,按年率计算增幅达到5.6%,为连续第8个季度保持增长,并同时公布了2003财年日本的经济增长数字。在2003年4月至2004年3月的财政年度中,日本的国内生产总值比上个财年增长3.2%,为1996财年以来的最大增幅,并大大高出年度初日本政府预测的2%的增幅。今年第一季度,内需和外需对日本经济增长的贡献分别为1.1和0.3个百分点。在内需方面,个人消费、住宅建设和民间企业设备投资分别比上季度增长1%、0.6%和2.4%。外需方面,由于对亚洲国家和地区的出口仍保持良好的增长势头,出口总额比上季度增长3.9%。
Japan’s Cabinet Office announced recently that in the first quarter of this year, Japan’s GDP increased by 1.4% sequentially and at an annualized rate of 5.6%, maintaining the eighth consecutive quarterly growth while announcing Japan’s fiscal 2003 Economic growth figures. In the fiscal year from April 2003 to March 2004, Japan’s GDP increased by 3.2% over the previous financial year, its largest increase since FY1996, significantly higher than the forecast by the Japanese government at the beginning of the year, 2 % Increase. In the first quarter of this year, the contribution of domestic demand and foreign demand to Japan’s economic growth were 1.1 and 0.3 percentage points respectively. In terms of domestic demand, personal consumption, housing construction and private enterprise equipment investment increased by 1%, 0.6% and 2.4% respectively from the previous quarter. On the external demand side, the total export volume grew by 3.9% from the previous quarter due to good growth in exports to Asian countries and regions.
