This paper systematically analyzes and compares the properties of carbon and silicon from the microstructure to the macroscopic structure from the point of view of structure and thermodynamics and reveals the differences between them. Through theoretical analysis and case studies, it is described in simple terms that the “dominate” elements of the organic and inorganic worlds - carbon and silicon.
