1999年7月,当新任校长张小娟面对院墙剥落、杂草丛生的校园,提出要把平南小学建成一所现代品牌学校时,不少教师和家长感觉到好笑,认为这简直是一个天方夜谭。但是,4年之后,再提及张小娟校长这一理想宣言时,无论是家长还是教师都流露出赞赏的神情,对平南小学的发展充满了信心。巨变背后的原因是什么呢?那就是校长张小娟“潜移默化,逐步提升”教师队伍质量的努力。
