作为最具国际影响力的当代中国艺术家之一,张晓刚可以折射出中国二十多年新艺术发展的历程。1980年代,张晓刚的画风还带有表现主义倾向,之后转向超现实主义风格。一直到1993年以前,他始终在几种不同风格之间切换。很偶然的,他被家藏的旧照片触动,开始创作著名的《大家庭》系列作品。
As one of the most influential contemporary Chinese artists, Zhang Xiaogang can reflect the course of more than two decades of new art development in China. In the 1980s, Zhang Xiaogang’s style of painting was also expressive and turned to surrealistic style. Until 1993, he always switched between several different styles. Occasionally, he was touched by the old photos of his possession and started to create the famous “Family” series.
