This paper introduces the features of CARD / 1 software and discusses the application of CARD / 1 software in the preliminary planning of Kuitun - Karamay Expressway, the establishment of digital terrain model and the design of route alignment, and discusses the functions and economic benefits that can be achieved in later development.
