我们所说的传统文化是广义的范畴,是指人类社会实践过程中所创造的物质和精神财富的总和,具有不可逆的传承性。而设计是文化艺术与科技结合的产物,无论怎样的发展都无法摆脱传统文化对它的深刻影响。艺术设计是需要创新的,创新对传统文化而言,是扬弃,而不是否定!如果割裂了传统文化与现代设计的联系,现代艺术与设计也将黯然失色,甚至会自我窒息而亡。人类至今仍然生活在传统文化构建的世界里,传统文化是一种客观存在是历史的积淀,它为人类前进积蓄着力量,提供着营养。传统文化之对于我们今天的现代设计如鱼得水,须臾不可离开。
What we mean by traditional culture is a broad category, which refers to the sum of the material and spiritual wealth created in the practice of human society and has irreversible inheritance. The design is a product of the combination of culture, arts and science and technology, no matter what kind of development can not get rid of the profound influence of traditional culture on it. Art design requires innovation. Innovation is sublation rather than negation to traditional culture. If the connection between traditional culture and modern design is cut off, modern art and design will be eclipsed and even suffocated. Human beings still live in a world built by traditional culture. Traditional culture is an objective existence and historical accumulation. It accumulates strength and provides nutrition for human progress. The traditional culture must not leave our modern design today.
