Reviewing the history of cultural thought in the twentieth century, one can not find a clear characteristic without being careful: the unprecedented instability demonstrated by the intellectual homeland of the East and West. The pendulum movement of the trend of thought from right to left and from left to right reflects the passive and embarrassing intellectuals in the fierce political and social changes. Moreover, this drastic turning point has a very close connection with the seventy-year history of the former Soviet Union, or indeed the course of its changes confirms the ups and downs of the history of the Soviet Union. Indeed, the emergence and demise of the Soviet Union were the most important and also the most dramatic phenomenon in human society in the twentieth century. Some people called it “a bright dream” in the article. The meaning is to say that although the ideal of light, but in the end is a dream to be shattered. In short, as the “human dream” with the largest scale, the longest time, and the complicated content, the huge influence on the trend of thoughts of the times is obviously a matter of course.
