两年前,江西省政协副主席、民进江西省委会主委刘运来带领民进江西省委会经济科技委员会全体委员到省农科院考察,了解到被研究人员誉为野生植物里的“大熊猫”——东乡野生稻濒临灭绝的情况,立即以信息形式向相关部门报告,并将此情况向新闻界披露,从而引起政府的高度关注与重视。如今东乡野生稻已得到有效保护,科研人员正在对它的有利基因进行研究开发。
Two years ago, Vice Chairman of CPPCC of Jiangxi Province and chairman of the People’s Progressive Jiangxi Provincial Committee, Liu Yunlai, led all the members of the Economic and Technological Commission of Jiangxi Province into Jiangxi Provincial Committee to study in the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He learned that the researchers, hailed as “ Giant Panda ”- Dongxiang Wild Rice is on the verge of extinction. It immediately reported to the relevant departments in the form of information and disclosed the situation to the media. This caused great concern and attention from the government. Nowadays, wild rice in Dongxiang has been effectively protected. Researchers are doing research and development on its favorable genes.
