前言瞬变电磁勘探法(TEM)由于在以前认为不适于电磁法勘探的地区,寻找导电异常很成功,所以它在世界各地的应用愈来愈广泛.现在使用的仪器(SIROTEM,UTEM,CRONEPULSE EM等)大多是采用电压测量,即测量磁场的时间导数.不过,以超导量子干涉装置(SQUID)为基础的接收系统在许多领域取得成功,使得有些研究单位(例如,澳大利亚的矿物资源局)已着手研究把SQUID用在TEM上,以便直接测量磁场.
Foreword Transient Electromagnetic Exploration (TEM) The application of TEMs is becoming more widespread around the world because of the successful identification of conductive anomalies in areas previously considered unsuitable for electromagnetic prospecting. The instruments currently in use (SIROTEM, UTEM, CRONEPULSE EM Etc.) mostly use voltage measurements, ie, the time derivatives of the measured magnetic field, however, receiving systems based on SQUIDs have succeeded in many areas and have led some research institutes (for example, Australia’s Bureau of Mineral Resources) SQUID has been studied for use on the TEM in order to directly measure the magnetic field.
